Derek’s passion for carpentry began when he was just 19 years old, working as a laborer for his uncle’s construction company. He quickly fell in love with the craft and spent the next several years learning everything he could about carpentry and other aspects of home construction. After a few years, Derek decided to venture out on his own and start his own company.
When Derek isn’t working onsite or in the shop, he can be found enjoying the great outdoors of Oregon with his wife of 20 years, April, and their 15-year-old son, Brady. They love hiking, fishing, snowboarding, skiing, golfing, and being out on the water in a boat or paddleboard. Derek’s love for family, nature, and his craft is reflected in the beautiful work creates.
Over the years, we’ve built a team of skilled craftsmen who share Derek’s passion for doing fine carpentry. Despite the high demand for our services, we’ve kept our team small, which allows us to give each project the personal attention it deserves. We pride ourselves in providing the best service to our clients as we work with them to bring their vision to life.
